Untitled XV

I do not want to learn your way of writing
though I can taste your thoughts,
smooth pearls spilling from translucent shells,
their saltiness roughening my skin.

      • Long and rambling does not always mean good writing. I tend to be more brief in my writing. My submission this time was one of my longer poems. I do Japanese poetic forms mainly and those tend to weed out the chaff and get to the heart of the matter. Thank you for joining us today and hope you will consider continuing to join!
